Service
Remote Scout provides personalized remote job recommendations, resume-related tools, and application tracking for job seekers in supported countries of residence. Employer hiring eligibility varies by listing. Job listings are aggregated from third-party sources; we do not guarantee accuracy, availability, hiring outcomes, or that any listing remains open.
Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You may request account termination through the support contact shown in the app once it is configured. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, scrape data, or violate these terms.
Paid subscriptions
When paid checkout is enabled, membership is billed at the price shown at purchase (currently planned as $27 USD per month for the monthly plan, unless otherwise stated). Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. Currency is USD unless a different price is explicitly shown.
Cancellation and renewal
Cancel anytime through the Stripe customer billing portal linked from the app (when Stripe is enabled). Cancellation stops future renewals. Access typically continues through the end of the period already paid. Exact timing follows Stripe’s subscription period end.
Refunds
To request a refund, contact the support address shown in the app within 7 days of the charge with your account email and Stripe receipt. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe. When a charge is fully refunded, paid access ends. Partial refunds may not restore or revoke access automatically.
Job listings and third-party links
“Apply” links open third-party employer or aggregator sites. We are not responsible for those sites’ content, privacy practices, application outcomes, or broken links. Listings may become stale; verification is best-effort and may lag.
AI-assisted features
When configured, we may use third-party AI providers to help generate tailored resume or cover-letter text. Outputs can be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing all materials before use.
Career path rankings, skill-gap labels, and learning roadmaps measure profile overlap with permitted listings and curated occupational references. They are not predictions of hiring success, salary, or eligibility to apply. Posting-backed skill claims require extracted evidence; occupational-reference gaps are labeled separately and are not job-posting proof.
Your content
You retain ownership of resumes and profile data you upload. You grant us permission to process that content to operate matching and generate tailored materials you request.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape, resell, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service. Do not upload malware or impersonate others.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is.” We are not responsible for hiring decisions, listing accuracy, or third-party apply sites.
Support
Billing, access, and data requests use the support contact shown in the app after it is verified. Response times are best-effort and not an SLA.
